Details

Description:
In the new cinnamon version, there is no possibility to aktivate, change or do anything eles with the screen saver and screen lock menü. It is just blank and if you use the gnome function, you can not lock your screen. Only fade to black is working

Are you using cinnamon with cinnamon-control-center and cinnamon-screensaver? or what it is exactly your configuration?

It's normal. If no cinnamon-control-center and cinnamon-screensaver installed, the Screensaver & Lock Settings panel is empty in System Settings. We cannot do anything. If you are not satisfied, then report it to upstream developers to hide this panel if neither cinnamon-control-center or cinnamon-screensaver installed:
