DetailsDescription:
I have a ArchLinux with OpenBox in a EeePC and volumeicon does not start at boot. If I try to start it manually print the following (in spanish because I'm from Spain): volumeicon: alsa_backend.c:92: asound_get_volume: La declaración `m_elem != ((void *)0)' no se cumple. Abortado (`core' generado) It says something like 'Declaration `m_elem ... ' is not met. Aborting (`core' generated)'. Additional info: Version of volumeicon: volumeicon-0.5.0-1 Steps to reproduce: In my autostart file (Openbox ones) appears like: volumeicon -b & The times I tried to start it manually I used the same command without forking to background using '&' and other time without the -b option. It's assumed to be executed with tint2. |

Does it start if you run this command?
LC_ALL=C volumeicon
Add LC_ALL=C to the /etc/locale.conf,regenerate the locale and restart.
I'm unable to reproduce the issue here. I assume you're on i686, is that correct? I'm on x86_64.
Please report this bug to the volumeicon developer and include an url to the bugreport here.
Thank you.
The config file must be removed (~/.config/volumeicon/volumeicon) and execute it without options.
