Syslog-ng (as packaged by arch TUs) does not currently ship with ipv6 support, as far as I can tell. I need to rebuild my package with --enable-ipv6 to use ipv6-related network logging in my configs. In light of ipv6's growing use and the depletion of ipv4 delegations, I think it makes sense to start supporting ipv6 in arch applications. While many do, this one does not. Simply adding '--enable-ipv6' to the configure line in the PKGBUILD will enable ipv6 support. Additional info: * package version(s) syslog-ng 3.4.1 |
