Details

Description:
Extra "" and \\\ in CMakeLists.txt at -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX
This is a fatal error if projectm is recompiled with the usecg flag, but more importantly it also seems to be a silent error in the version without cg. Which is what is happening in the package in extra.
Error at runtime : No XXX Loaded from "/usr"/share/projectM/XXX

Fix is already in projectm git.

Additional info:
projectm 2.1.0-4
sourceforge reference: http://sourceforge.net/p/projectm/discussion/358774/thread/3e80490d (I hope links are ok, i greped the guidlines and didnt see anything)

Steps to reproduce:
Install projectm from extra.
Start Projectm.
Path error warning.
Textures are not required by projectm so most people are not noticing.

Thanks for reporting.

I could not find "" or \\\ in CMakeList.txt, neither before nor after running cmake.

I could not reproduce either, when running projectM-test from the projectm-test package, everything worked, and no error or warning was seen.

When you say "Start Projectm", how do you start it?

Edit: Ah, found it after reading the bugreport you linked to. It was in: src/libprojectM/CMakeLists.txt

I'll update projectM once they have a new release, unless the current situation is really problematic.

Sorry I should have been more specific.
It's not a terrible problem, as there are not many textures in the default build to miss.

Only reason I really came to mark this down is that pacman recently pushed an update of projectm and I rebuilt with the fix again.

Anyway thanks :D

Thank you! I'll close this ticket and update projectM at the next release, then. :)
