Description:

In the skype-wrapper source file resulting in /usr/bin/skype

LD_PRELOAD gets overwritten by Lib Path to QtWebKit

Resulting in webcams using v4l not available in skype.

A solution would be to change skype-wrapper template to the attached file.

start skype
=> options => Video => no Webcam displayed.
