DetailsDescription: In gnome 3.6 the Default alert sound is wrong. The Default alert sound is playing the "drip" sound effect, instead of the actual sound. Likewise, the "drip" sound also plays the drip sound, so in fact the "drip" sound effect is duplacted in both the Default and the Drip.
Additional info: * Gnome 3.6, gnome-control-center-3.6.3-4 (64-bit) Steps to reproduce: Install Gnome3.6, trigger alert sound or go into sound-settings>sound effects and prievew the sounds. |

This is not an upstream bug. I upgraded to gnome 3.8 today from gnome-unstable and this issue is still present

So do you think the issue lies in sound-theme-freedesktop? That would explain why the issue wasn't fixed in the gnome 3.6->3.8 upgrade.

Is there any chance in getting the attention of the sound-theme-freedesktop maintainers for this bug? I do not know how to get in contact with them
