Description: In gnome 3.6 the Default alert sound is wrong.
The Default alert sound is playing the "drip" sound effect,

This is not an upstream bug. I upgraded to gnome 3.8 today from
gnome-unstable and this issue is still present

i found it normally because there is no new
sound-theme-freedesktop release.

So do you think the issue lies in sound-theme-freedesktop? That
would explain why the issue wasn't fixed in the gnome 3.6->3.8
upgrade.

Is there any chance in getting the attention of the
sound-theme-freedesktop maintainers for this bug? I do not know
how to get in contact with them
