it used to work until the mesa upgrade. The exact version of blender is
6:2.66-1
P.D: I'm using radeon graphics card. I don't know if this issue affects Intel and Nvidia.
For what it's worth I am using an Nvidia Geforce GTX 260, running Nouveau drivers (I suppose that is implied though), so it doesn't appear to be card specific.
Note: uptime 8 days, no reboot or X restart ... will recheck after doing so.
