DetailsDescription:
TF2 has no sound unless pulseaudio is installed. Additional info: When launching Steam from a console, starting TF2 (w/o pulseaudio installed) echoes this to stdout: SDLAUDIO: SDL_OpenAudioDevice() failed: Could not setup connection to PulseAudio Generating new string page texture 1236: 16x256, total string texture memory is 5.05 MB AL lib: pulseaudio.c:612: Context did not connect: Access denied Steps to reproduce: 1. Remove pulseaudio package from system. 2. Start Steam from console. 3. Observe error in console and notice that the game has no sound. |

please try the version in testing which has a patch to check if pulseaudio is running
