DetailsDescription:
Without explanation or obvious justification, /etc/rc.d/munin-node was apparently removed on purpose (commit msg: "Remove init script also"). This means that for 14 days, my munin was actually not running (my bad, should check better). The point is mainly: what is the recommended way of having munin node run as a service? Why did it disappear? Why so silently? Did noone expect existing installs to break? Additional info: munin-2.0.11.1-1 munin-node-2.0.11.1-1 https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/log/trunk?h=packages/munin&showmsg=1 git-svn-id: file:///srv/svn-packages@177842 eb2447ed-0c53-47e4-bac8-5bc4a241df78 Steps to reproduce: Install munin version 2.0.11.1-1, try to "rc.d start munin-node" |

I was not aware of the final deprecation warning and was under (wrong) the impression that existing initscript functionality would stay. My bad. Time to redo the whole system then.
