Description:

When trying to start blender, I get an error message:
blender: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenCOLLADAStreamWriter.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I can confirm that this is an issue; I am having the exact same problem. Perhaps it is because opencollada updated within the past day?

Same problem, apparently opencollada now supplies libOpenCOLLADAStreamWriter.a instead of the dynamic variant.

Just installed Blender about five minutes ago, and this is the error is complained about.
Maybe this bug report needs to be sent to the official Blender website?

Oh crap sorry guys. Something went haywire during the qt5 rebuild which blender also depends on.
