DetailsAffected package: postfix 2.10.0-2 (from extra repository)
Description: In the file "/etc/postfix/main.cf.default", the value for "manpage_directory" should be changed from "/usr/local/man" to "/usr/share/man". Otherwise, calling "/usr/sbin/postfix set-permissions" will fail with the error "chown: cannot access '/usr/local/man/man1/mailq.1.gz': No such file or directory" when "/etc/postfix/main.cf" doesn't contain the line "manpage_directory = /usr/share/man". This might be the case for example when using an old config file. Steps to reproduce: 1. Remove line "manpage_directory = /usr/share/man" from the file "/etc/postfix/main.cf". 2. Try executing the command "/usr/sbin/postfix set-permissions" |
