DetailsIf the profiling support doesn't do any harm (e.g. performance wise), it would be useful if it was enabled in the default kernel.
For example the sysprof tool requires this (http://www.daimi.au.dk/~sandmann/sysprof/). 2590c2578,2579 < # CONFIG_PROFILING is not set --- > CONFIG_PROFILING=y > CONFIG_OPROFILE=m |
