Description:
It would be nice to compile mplayer2 with samba input (--enable-smb) as mplayer is compiled with this flag.

Reason for closing:  Won't implement
Additional comments about closing:  The main reason why I took mplayer2 maintainership was to keep package more lightweight than mplayer is.

Fortunately mplayer2 is quite quick to compile, so get familiar with ABS.
