Details

Description:
When launching Steam, a dialog instead appears, with the message "Fatal Error: Failed to load steamui.so"

Additional info:
* steam version 1.0.0.27-1


Steps to reproduce:
1. Update package steam to current version on 64-bit system
2. Launch Steam

Additional comments about closing:  complain to upstream, if you didn't hit 1.0.0.23 then 1.0.0.24 you will have this error, they expect you to update

remove all of your steam files (except you can back up your SteamApps directory) then re run steam for the first bootstrap (afterwhich you can put SteamApps back)
