DetailsMy disk structure is as follows:
Disk 1: Part 1: boot Part 2: LUKS -> LVM -> root & swap Disk 2 & 3: mdadm raid -> LUKS -> LVM (same vg as above) -> home After updating to linux-3.7.7-1 (from 3.7.6-1) the LVM volumes for root & swap are not mounted automatically on boot and I am dropped to an emergency shell. There I can mount the volumes manually using the -P (partial) option and boot continues normally. |

If you don't want to activate both PVs in initramfs, then split into two separate VGs. If you don't want that, you MUST unlock both PVs in initramfs in order to activate your VG.
