There is a new feature from munin, munin-async. It's a daemon who collect data from munin-node. The munin server make on request on munin-async instead of munin-node. The response time is better because the data are collected before.

I have make some add to the munin source package for add munin-async capabilities and I'd like to give my contribution to the Mainteners.

Is this upstream? We don't include extra stuff unless upstream is shipping it, and then we'd be able to get it from the tarball anyway.

Patch form against the SVN repo or ABS would be much easier for me to take a look at, rather than some bundle of files. This PKGBUILD you've provided also stops the building of any of the existing packages, which doesn't make a lot of sense.
