Details

Description:
I can install and run steam without sdl, but the client can't update without sdl. Steam's updater reports, that there is no internet. After installing sdl everything runs just fine.

Steps to reproduce:
Use a minimal graphical install without sdl and try to update steam via its own updater.

just removed steam and all of it in ~/ and pacman -Rdd sdl and lib32-sdl and installed steam again without sdl, didnt occur here.
