DetailsOctave uses texinfo to generate documentation at the commandline for functions. If you forgot some detail of how the plot function worked, you can type "> help plot" to see plot's usage information. It would be nice if texinfo was included as a dependency so that this would work.

That would be fine. I also noticed that the plot command depends on gnuplot.

post-install infos are added... i will do a new release, as soon as i can reach octave.org - at the moment i get timeouted all the time :-(
