Detailsafter today's update to linux-3.7.6-1 from [testing] i found that r8168-8.035.00-3 from [community] couldn't be loaded anymore. my wired interface didn't show up, and "modprobe r8168" spit out some error (don't remember exactly, sorry).
dmesg (attached) has a dozen or so messages disagreeing about symbol versions, declaring those 'unknown.' i installed r8168-all-8.035.00-1 from AUR, which works fine. i suspect the driver from [community] needs to be rebuilt or something... -- phani. |
