DetailsThis is the first package that would need to be added in order to support this next generation display server.
It would also help you solve https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/33577 Why? Protocol is marked as stable and GTK+3 and Qt5 can use it. It would help devs to develop and test apps that work on Wayland. Weston will be needed too, but this is first package that needs to be added. After that, Mesa package would need to be built with --with-egl-platforms="drm,x11,wayland" PKGBUILD and a single patch are in attached tarball. If someone can add it into repositories, I'd be grateful. I can help maintain it if necesary. I didn't set any maintainer name in PKGBUILD. Whoever (if anyone) picks this, please set your name. |
