Description:
I've upgraded linux kernel to version 3.7.4-1 and now I can't adjust brightness in GNOME. I've found out that modifing sys file /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness doesn't take any effect. But if I write a value to /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness it works well. How can I change settings of DBus to use /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness instead of /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness ? Thx Additional info: gnome-shell 3.6.2-1 linux 3.7.4-1 |

Ok, I have solved it by adding acpi_backlight=vendor parameter to
the kernel.
