Description:
Since I switched my laptop to systemd, wicd stopped reconnecting to Wi-Fi after resumung from suspend.
I read on the wiki, that systemd does not run pm-utils hooks, so this must be the problem.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
wicd 1.7.2.4-5
wicd-gtk 1.7.2.4-5
systemd 196-2
linux-lts 3.0.57

Steps to reproduce:
Install systemd, wicd, connect to Wi-Fi. Suspend the machine. Resume from suspend. Wicd will show Wi-Fi state as connected, but ping will fail. If you ask wicd to reconnect, it works from here.

Those packages you listed are out-of-date. Update your mirrors then upgrade your system and see if the problem persists.

I don't have any problems here with suspend and wicd. Can you try to run not the LTS kernel? What does wicd log say about this behavior?

I have switched to the linux kernel (from linux-lts) and now wicd reconnects most of the time.
I have had it ocasionally not reconnect, so I had to perform a reboot. I have no idea why that happens.
Anyways, this bug can be closed.
