When login with .xintrc for multiple desktop enviroment SLiM 1.3.5 goes in loop

Additional comments about closing:  Behavior has changed due to dropped patch; some people will have to tweak their .xinitrc for things to work as before. (See comments.)

why did you remove this patch: 'session-name.patch' ???

Because we prefer vanilla packages and also that patch doesn't offer anything you can't do in your .xinitrc.

Just add a catch-all case to your .xinitrc (as per [1]) and set DEFAULT_SESSION=startxfce4.
