Details
The kernel has a nifty feature to debug suspend/resume
issues using the RTC. Unfortunately, the current arch kernel
config disables it. This forces people to compile the kernel
just so they can debug it. Since this feature is opt-in at
runtime (for obvious reasons), enabling it shouldn't affect
people, while it helps people that need it. A quick check
shows, that Fedora and Ubuntu have it enabled too.
Note that I used it a few weeks ago to debug my resume issue, and a quick seach show that there's others that run into the same issue to need to compile the kernel just for that ( |
