I wish i didn't have to log into AUR everytime i visit the page. The session expires quite quickly. It would be cool if there was a "Remember me" checkbox in the login form, similar to one at bbs.

Would making the session last longer be sufficient?

I know this feature would be handy..hmmm....

Certainly it would be better than nothing but still I think the remembering would be great.

This needs to be done eventually, no doubt.

But what needs to be done ASAP is to edit the session expired page to give the user a link to where he or she was going before the session expired. It is extremely annoying when I open up numerous AUR links and they all give me that page and I have to find the links to open again.

The session timeout is set to 30 minutes of inactivity. However, it seems to me it's MUCH WORSE than that. Is something not working properly, or is a half hour just shorter than I think?

I've set the session timeout to 2 hours in 1.2.10. Please report in on whether or not this is making a big difference to all of you.

If this has been a satisfactory solution, I will close this bug a month from now.

If not, let's generate some new ideas and we'll think about implementing them.
