I have installed 64 bits arch with calibre 0.9.14-1. When I try to install 0.9.15-1 with pacman -S calibre I receive error messages and upgrade doesn't work:

error: error al realizar la transacción (archivos en conflicto)
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/__init__.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/constants.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/customize/__init__.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/customize/builtins.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/customize/conversion.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/customize/profiles.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/customize/ui.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/customize/zipplugin.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos
calibre: /usr/lib/calibre/calibre/db/__init__.pyc existe en el sistema de archivos...

and lots of similar error messages.

All those *.pyc files are not included in the package you have currently installed.

To fix that just run:
find /usr/lib/calibre/calibre -name \*.pyc | xargs rm -f

Thanks Maciej. 'find /usr/lib/calibre/ -name \*.pyc | xargs rm -f' fixed the problem, I've sucessfully updated calibre.
