Description:
When trying to boot the ArchLinux install media over a lantronix KVM, it couldn't find its root filesystem image.

At boot:
Waiting 30 seconds for device /dev/disk/by-label/ARCH_201301 ...

The kernel then dumps me into a minimum environment. I know that it does have drivers for the CDROM as I see it in dmesg as /dev/sr0.

Lantronix SLSLP KVM
ArchLinux 201301

The network attached usb CDROM shows up as "Peppercon"


I verified the MD5 sum of the install media, I also verified I could boot Debian and CentOS over the same KVM connection.

There were no scsi disk errors in the ramfs boot logs.

I'll grab blkid if I get access to the machine again.
