Summary and Info:

Downgrading via "pacman -Syyuu" game me an error along the line "filesystem requires nss-hostmane" despite nss-hostname being a dependency available in the repo. I required using "pacman -Syyuu nss-hostname".

To clarify - the filesystem package was not downgraded. systemd was an so the provider for nss-myhostname was removed.

On a similar note, I just found out that if you downgrade to (say) 2018/05/10 the older libsystemd doesn't get pulled in despite -Syyuu, because pacman thinks it's already good enough with the new systemd-libs.

Of course breakage ensues.
