Package cdparanoia is required for ripping audio CDs to the MPEG1 Layer III format. Additional info: * package version(s) Qt: 4.8.4 KDE Development Platform: 4.9.5 K3b: 2.0.2 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: I recently installed Arch and it is up to date. I use the KDE base install with the Phonon-VLC backend. Perform a fresh install of K3B and attempt to rip an audio CD using the MPEG1 Layer III format. It will fault out saying that libcdparanoia wasn't found. Installing the cdparanoia package from the Extra repository remedies this situation. |
