DetailsDescription:
When starting hamster-time-tracker on a fresh install, it complains with some obscure error message: ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on :1.146:/org/gnome/Hamster: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) After checking whether the services run, I found hamster-service dead and tried to relaunch it, failing with: IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/usr/share/hamster-applet/hamster.db' Fix for this is to put a database into place, at ~/.local/share/hamster-applet/hamster.db . I however do not know how to solve this with packaging. Related upstream bug: https://github.com/projecthamster/hamster/issues/61 (there it says it's an install (packaging) issue |
