CONFIG_ARPD is required for some of the advanced features of OpenNHRP to work properly. The feature is very small and has already been incorporated by a few other distros (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=502844 & http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=5709). I have tested the option enabled in my own AUR build of the kernel with no issues. |

I wouldn't consider the feature to be extremely useful to the average user, however to any user who finds mrouted and CONFIG_IP_MROUTE useful, it might be a nice feature to have available.
