Description:
Using libfaketime results in an error as follows:

[orschiro@thinkpad ~]$ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/fakteime/libfaketime.so.1 FAKETIME="-15d" date
ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/fakteime/libfaketime.so.1' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
Mo 24. Dez 23:56:58 CET 2012

You have a typo here. "/usr/lib/fakteime/" should be "/usr/lib/faketime/". I also recommend using the faketime(1) command instead of directly using LD_PRELOAD.

Thank you. Sometimes it is wise to take a closer look on what one is typing. :)

In the meantime another issue arose. The faketime libraries do not work with 32bit applications.

Would it be possible to add a lib32-libfaketime package to multilib?
