The current version of the build script, 3.4.2-4 experiences an error during the patching process.

Here is what I am seeing:

I am having difficulty tracking down which patch seems to be failing.

please wait until 3.4.3 hit the the servers, then the patches are not needed anymore. else please try to fix it on your own through kde svn or try to fix the patch, it's not really difficult to fix.

Actually I found what appears to be the root-cause of my problem. I had files in my /var/cache/pacman/src directory. I am not sure how the files got there, but once I removed all files from that directory. All of my build problems went away. I am not sure of the purpose of that directory, but it looks like makepkg utility looks there first for files used during the build cycle.
