I can reproduce a crash 100% with both firefox and epiphany by just going to url:

http://www.telkku.com

It gives this to terminal window, when the browser is started from it:

$ firefox
The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 90 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

$ epiphany
The program 'epiphany' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
(Details: serial 90 error_code 8 request_code 146 minor_code 3)

The cause of crashes was the flashplugin package (surprise). After I removed the flashplugin, there has been no crashes.

well it doesn't crash for me.
Which video driver/card are you using ?
Comment by Seppo Porspakka (porsse) - Wednesday, 02 November 2005, 17:46 GMT
I have radeon 9200. In kernel I have the radeon DRI module,
and in xorg I'm using the radeon open source driver. I can still
reproduce this by installing flashplugin and going to virtually any
website with flash graphics.

Does this still apply to firefox 1.5?

I can confirm this bug though not with this website and not 100% of the time. It applies to FF1.5.
