DetailsThe wiki references to a /etc/rc.d/xdm, but it's not included in the xorg package. I think /etc/rc.d/kdm is included in the kde package. There are of course other ways to start login managers at boot, perhaps the inittab method is the better method, but I think there should be one way that can be applied to all, and this way should be mentioned in the wiki.

Additional comments about closing: The wiki is a community project, only hosted on archlinux.org's servers and domain. The articles are written by the community at large, and thus we cannot be responsible for their content here on the bugtracker.
All wiki pages are editable by all (this is the idea behind a wiki), and there are discussion pages that go with them, you can talk about it to the authors of it, discuss it, or just change it yourself.
