Description:
When taking a snapshot in png format, the interface works just fine, and tells me that it saved the file at a particular place on the hard drive, but the file itself is unusable (it's not a png, some binary data, "file vlcsnap-xxxx.png" calls it "data)

Additional info:
* vlc 2.0.4-4
* attached log when taking a screenshot with vlc -vvv

Steps to reproduce:
* Set VLC to png format scnapshoting (Tools/Preferences/Video/Video snapshots/Format)
* Restart VLC
* Open a video
* Take snapshot (Video/Take snapshot)
   vlc.log (1.5 KiB)

Just a note I forgot: jpg snapshots work just fine, png is the one that has the problem.

(and sorry, this is a duplicate of https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32858 I haven't found it before because that is attached to Pacman instead of "Packages: Extra")
