Description:

Please update gphoto2 and libgphoto2 to version 2.5.0
The current version (2.4.14-1) is affected by an annoying bug that limits the number of files on the camera to 1024.

The updated PKGBUILD files are attached.

This requires a full rebuild of anything that depends on libgphoto. I know GNOME is ready for libgphoto 2.5.x, but don't know if KDE already supports it.

Assigning to maintainers of all packages that depend on libgphoto2 in [extra]. All the [community] packages that depend on libgphoto2 are maintained by Sergej Pupykin.

Hopefully this can shed some light on if libgphoto2 can be updated or not.
