DetailsDescription:
The package 'lksctp-tools' was probably not installed when compiling the erlang and erlang-nox community packages. It does not have to be a dependency for the users, but could be added as an optional dependency. Erlang will load the library (libsctp.so.1) in run-time when it is used and can also handle if it is missing. Additional info: erlang R15B03-1 Steps to reproduce: Arch package 'erlang' and 'lksctp-tools' installed (kernel module 'sctp' is also loaded): 1> gen_sctp:open(). {error, eprotonosupport} Recompiled 'erlang' having 'lksctp-tools' installed: 1> gen_sctp:open(). {ok,#Port<0.594>} Recompiled 'erlang' having 'lksctp-tools' installed and then removed 'lksctp-tools': 1> gen_sctp:open(). {error, eprotonosupport} |
