Installed arch from miniinst-cd yesterday and noticed that
after pacman -Syu and pacman -Sy firefox i don't have
/opt/mozilla/bin in my $PATH. After adding it to
/etc/profile i still have no effect.
Even after lots of reboots: [stalwart@angel ~]$ cat /etc/profile | grep PATH export PATH="/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/opt/bin:/opt/mozilla/bin" export MANPATH="/usr/man:/usr/X11R6/man" [stalwart@angel ~]$ echo $PATH :/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/ucb klapmuetz on IRC said that is default .bashrc bug [stalwart@angel ~]$ cat .bashrc alias ls='ls --color=auto' alias l='ls --color=auto' PS1='[\u@\h \W]\$ ' I added only second line - "l" alias, rest is default |

/opt/mozilla/bin is included in your path by /etc/profile.d/mozilla-common.sh from the mozilla-common package.
