QThreadStorage: Thread 0xda4740 exited after QThreadStorage 12 destroyed

kwin_gles crashes with similar output.

After some usage, I've noticed that firefox crashes with similar output as well, depending on the open tabs. I'm able to consistently crash firefox (17.0.1) visiting bugs.kde.org. The console trace is the same:

intel_do_flush_locked failed: Error de entrada/salida (Input/Output Error)

I guess these are the suspicious packages, being intel's one the most appealing:
[2012-12-01 09:09] upgraded qt (4.8.3-6 -> 4.8.4-1)
[2012-12-01 09:09] upgraded xf86-video-intel (2.20.13-1 -> 2.20.14-1)

I've also detected the following trace on my Xorg.0.log file:

(EE) [mi] EQ overflowing. Additional events will be discarded until existing events are processed.

I was using "AccelMethod" "sna"

I'm not able to reproduce it using "uxa".

  • Field changed: Summary ([kdebase-workspace,firefox] kwin+firefox crashes after latest update → [xf86-video-intel] kwin+firefox crashes after latest update)
  • Field changed: Severity (High → Medium)
  • Task reassigned to Andreas Radke (AndyRTR)
This is clearly an intel issue if you can workaround it by changing the accelmethod.

Report this upstream (intel).

Yes, please report this bug to the freedesktop tracker being a Intel SNA issue.

Reported:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57805

Can't reproduce it anyway, after poweroff cycle.
