If the only package that owns a directory is being updated and the new version has different directory permissions compared with the old version, it should be fine to change the permissions. e.g. warning: directory permissions differ on var/log/hp/tmp/ filesystem: 1774 package: 1777 > pacman -Qo /var/log/hp/tmp /var/log/hp/tmp is owned by hplip 3.12.11-1 |
