Description:
i am trying to set up a vpn connection through gnome network manager applet using openconnect and .p12 certificate, i am able to connect to vpn gateway, and enter certificate credentials (pin code), but after entering user credentials i got scarce error message about connection failure, so i have attached part of the log below. Additional info: * package version(s) ** local/network-manager-applet 0.9.6.4-1 GNOME frontends to NetWorkmanager ** local/networkmanager 0.9.6.4-1 Network Management daemon ** local/networkmanager-openconnect 0.9.6.2-1 NetworkManager VPN integration for openconnect * config and/or log files etc. ** /var/log/everything.log: Nov 27 16:55:16 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <info> Starting VPN service 'openconnect'... Nov 27 16:55:16 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <info> VPN service 'openconnect' started (org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.openconnect), PID 682 Nov 27 16:55:16 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <info> VPN service 'openconnect' appeared; activating connections Nov 27 16:55:16 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <info> VPN plugin state changed: init (1) Nov 27 16:55:37 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <error> [1354028137.791072] [nm-vpn-connection.c:1366] plugin_need_secrets_cb(): (29e62f02-4c8e-42d4-8834-1292b2aaa974/TR VPN Certificate) final secrets request failed to provide sufficient secrets Nov 27 16:55:37 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <info> Policy set 'EPAMemployees' (wlan0) as default for IPv4 routing and DNS. Nov 27 16:55:42 localhost NetworkManager[212]: <info> VPN service 'openconnect' disappeared Steps to reproduce: Actually it's hard to provide real steps to reproduce, because i don't know how the VPN gateway is configured to receive this kind of certificates, in case additional log or configuration information will be needed, please comment and i will provide necessary information. |

They seemed able to fix it under Ubuntu, please reply if this works for you or this is no longer an issue for you.
Either way It seems unlikely this is an Arch Linux specific problem and more of a configuration file problem which may be fixed deleting them all and starting over.
