Details

After upgrading vte-common (0.32.2-1 -> 0.34.1-1) I experienced some corruption in the xfce terminal. A screenshot is attached with the issue. It appears most often in htop when switching between tree and normal view, but other apps have this too.

My setup is Arch x86_64 with the latest updates to this date.

I've not seen any Gentoo users moan about this, so I reckon it's due to the by-now-famous Arch-specific pixman glyph cache patch:
