I have mounted in two separate folders two SAMBA shares with CIFS. It appears work well. However, when I add/edit a file (e.g.: a LibreOffice file and I stored a .odt file) it block the LibreOffice app and makes konqueror and the rest of the system work slow. Executing dmesg I get the output in the attached txt file. See last part (>= [ 6691.883322] (...)). Additional info: * package version(s) Kernel 3.6.6-1-ARCH cifs-utils 5.7-1 libwbclient 3.6.9-1 systemd 195-2 * config and/or log files etc. Almost all default Boot complete with systemd, no systemV. Steps to reproduce: Mount samba shares and create files with LibreOffice. |

Is this still an issue with latest 3.8 and 3.7 kernel?

No. I'm using 3.7.9-2 and it's working properly. Sorry for don't update the state of this "bug" and thank you for all the work you're doing. IMHO Archlinux is the best Linux distribution.
