Details

"kexec-tools" right now provides an init script for the "old" initscripts. The wiki page of Kexec (see [1]) provides a systemd unit file. With the move to systemd I think that the package [kexec-tools] should actually provide this systemd unit file by itself.

The problem is that you cannot ship a standard kexec systemd file.
We talked a lot on IRC about it and the result was it's not possible to ensure it works for everyone.
