that's not possible, since nautilus doesn't link to icu.

upload the following log:
LD_DEBUG=files nautilus > log 2>&1

You are correct, the problem seems to be tracker. I need to rebuild it.

why not switch to tracker from repos?

Maybe that's an option now. Back when I started using it I think it wasn't available, or was an old version... Thanks for the tip!
