Description:
VLC always crashes when playing a DVD. This DVD is CSS-encrypted; I don't know if that makes a difference, although several unencrypted DVDs I have will play. I don't have any others to try with. Additional info: The package is vlc 2.0.4-4, x86_64. This doesn't happen under Ubuntu so it seems to be an Arch-specific problem. Attached is a log of VLC's terminal output. tl;dr: It segfaults, complaining about "no VTS_TMAPT". If it helps, the DVD I'm using is _The Prestige_. Steps to reproduce: 1) Start VLC 2) File - Open Disc... 3) (Choose your DVD drive device) 4) Hit play |
