Description: Originally filed incorrectly on getty (I'm told): https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/32674

I have ~/.hushlogin however I still get a non-silent boot: http://flic.kr/p/dtXUzQ

Additional info:
* util-linux 2.22.1-2

Steps to reproduce:

A `sleep 10` in my ~/.bash_profile which allows me to clearly see this "noise". Furthermore if I have a USB key attached I get kernel messages printed to tty0!?
