I have ~/.hushlogin however I still get a non-silent boot: http://flic.kr/p/dtXUzQ Additional info: * util-linux 2.22.1-2 Steps to reproduce: A `sleep 10` in my ~/.bash_profile which allows me to clearly see this "noise". Furthermore if I have a USB key attached I get kernel messages printed to tty0!? |

Why does this have anything to do with util-linux? It's the kernel
throwing those messages.
