Reason for closing:  Won't implement
Additional comments about closing:  mysql-python is upstream name and I think it should stay as it is now.

These are the only packages that requires mysql-python (according to https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/mysql-python/):
django (optional)
griffith (optional)
mythtv
pyrss
python2-webpy (optional)

Not too many, so the consequences are easy to manage, relatively speaking.

Assigning to last packager as well.

These are the packages that depend on mysql-python now:

mythtv
pyrss
griffith (optional)
python2-django (optional)
python2-webpy (optional)

Please rename to python2-mysql.
