DetailsDescription: Some Python applications not run.
Additional info: * package version(s): dbus 1.6.8-1 python 3.3.0-1 eric 5.2.6-1 ninja-ide 2.1.1-1 * config and/or log files etc. Console output: process 477: arguments to dbus_message_iter_append_basic() were incorrect, assertion "_dbus_check_is_valid_utf8 (*string_p)" failed in file dbus-message.c line 2598. This is normally bug in some application using the D-Bus library. D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace. Steps to reproduce: 1- Install arch with xfce. 2- Install eric and ninja-ide from pacman. |

Eric & Ninja-ide work fine for me. I don't see how this is a dbus bug.

I just reinstall the system with xfce and these applications. I don't know what's the problem sorry, but the console show this command line error and the applications don't work. Can I send you some configuration or log file that you find useful to solve the problem?

Do you use a non-UTF8 locale?
